1. Terms
By accessing https://extraordinarycv.com and all subdomains (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Extraordinary CV is an AI-assisted resume editor for job seekers. These terms are a license to use the service, not a sale of the software.
2. Use license
You may use the Site to create, edit, and export résumés and related documents for your own job search. You may not:
- Copy, scrape, or republish our templates, sample data, or site source as your own product
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Site
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices from materials we provide
- Use the service to generate content you know is false in order to mislead employers
- Resell access, or use an account on behalf of other people as a commercial résumé mill
We may suspend or terminate access if you break these rules. Content you write remains yours; you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it so the product can function (including AI rewrite features you choose to run).
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You may register with email and a password, or continue with Google. You are responsible for the credentials you control. We may refuse, reclaim, or close accounts that appear abusive, automated, or created to evade a prior ban.
4. AI features
AI suggestions (rewrites, summaries, keyword matching, and similar tools) are assistive. They can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit for a specific employer. You must review every line before you send a résumé. Extraordinary CV is not a law firm, career counselor of record, or a guarantee of interviews or offers.
5. Disclaimer
The Site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that templates will pass every applicant-tracking system. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitations
Extraordinary CV and its operators are not liable for lost data, lost profits, failed applications, or other damages arising from use of the Site, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
7. Accuracy of materials
Sample résumés, celebrity sketches, salary bands, and career wiki copy are for writing reference. They are not official biographies, job offers, or certified compensation data. Celebrity pages are not affiliated with the people or companies named.
8. Modifications
We may change these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the current version. Questions: hello@extraordinarycv.com.
Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. We collect as little as we need to run the product, we do not sell personal information, and you can ask us to delete your account.
Who we are and what this covers
This policy applies to information we collect when you use extraordinarycv.com and its subdomains, including the editor, dashboard, login, and related APIs.
Information you provide
- Account: email, display name, and a password hash (we do not store the raw password). If you use Google, we receive your verified email, Google account id, and name.
- Résumé content: text, structure, and optional photo you put in the editor. Drafts currently live in your browser (local storage) on the device you use.
- Support mail: whatever you send to hello@extraordinarycv.com.
Information we collect automatically
Hosting and security logs may include IP address, user agent, and request times. We use a session flag in local storage after you sign in. We do not use advertising cookies. Theme preference is stored locally on your device.
How we use information
- Create and authenticate your account (email code, password, or Google)
- Run features you request, including AI rewrites sent to our inference provider
- Send transactional email such as a signup verification code
- Keep the service secure and debug failures
- Email ourselves an internal notice when a new account is created, so we can operate the product
Processors we use
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. Account records are stored in Cloudflare KV. Transactional email is sent through our email provider. Google Sign-In is handled by Google under its own terms. AI features run on Cloudflare Workers AI. We share only what those vendors need to provide their service.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the service, or as part of a merger or sale of the project. Public share links you create are visible to anyone with the URL — treat them as public.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK), you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data we hold about your account. To exercise those rights, email hello@extraordinarycv.com. You can also clear résumé drafts by deleting site data in your browser.
Deleting your data
Email hello@extraordinarycv.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will remove the stored account record. Browser-only drafts disappear when you clear local storage or we confirm deletion instructions with you.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account if you are under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
